Why can AP Chemistry and IB Chemistry be studied simultaneously?

AP Chemistry is a preparatory course for American universities, covering freshman-level chemistry knowledge, including core topics such as atomic structure, chemical equilibrium, acid-base chemistry, etc. IB Chemistry is part of the International Baccalaureate Diploma program, which also covers these core contents while expanding into deeper application areas. Since the two courses have a high degree of overlap in knowledge points, such as thermodynamics, chemical bonds, and reaction kinetics, students can master the main contents of the two courses in one study, thereby preparing for the exam efficiently and fully understanding chemical concepts.
